Managed a combined $3 Million USD budget for Japan, Korea and China. Shifted funds from one country to another depending on expertise and cost.Oversaw 28 AP engineers from Japan, Korea and China, including resource planning and resource assignments.
Standardized project plans for all internationalization projects committed by the department. Within 6 months, internationalization department was able to absorb more projects and deliver on time at a lower cost.
Optimized planning, staffing and execution of globalization projects over 6 geographic areas: Austin, Raleigh, Rome, Tokyo, Seoul and Beijing. Resulted in better coordination between geographies leading to a standardized project execution. Enabled software groups to conduct their own globalization testing while reducing cost of intercompany resources, freeing internationalization department to do more research and stay on the cutting edge of globalization.
Improved and upgraded efficiency of an in-house resource database that tracked yearly assignments of engineers by specialty, location and salary scale. Resulted in improved budget forecast and more specialized project assignment and improve QA.
